About C-T-ZEN
C-T-ZEN is an independent educational project that helps future U.S. citizens study official civics material with less friction and more confidence.
Study smart. Stay zen.
C-T-ZEN organizes preparation for the naturalization interview and civics test into focused study modes. The goal is simple: make official material easier to review without changing which source is authoritative.
The project is operated by an individual based in the United States. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.
Who it is for
C-T-ZEN is designed for people preparing for a U.S. naturalization interview, as well as family members, teachers, and volunteers helping them study. The interface is available in English and Russian. Official civics questions and accepted answers remain in English because the standard civics test is conducted in English unless an applicant qualifies for an exception.
What the app includes
Progress and preferences are stored on the device. After the PWA is installed and its study files are cached, the core trainer can continue to work without an internet connection. Updates, external resources, Analytics, and Stripe require network access.
What C-T-ZEN does not do
C-T-ZEN does not determine eligibility, prepare or file Form N-400, represent applicants, provide legal advice, or predict the outcome of a case or exam. USCIS notices, current USCIS instructions, and case-specific professional advice remain more authoritative than this study tool.
